Autonomous Learning of College English in the Web Environment

Abstract

With the societys rapid development and the requirement, developing students’ English autonomous learning capability in the Web environment is one key of college English educational reform. This article analyses the Web environment affecting the college students’ English autonomous learning, introduces the present situation of the college students’ English autonomous learning. And it enhances the students’ autonomous learning ability in the Web environment. The thesis contains four Parts. Part One introduces the Web, autonomous learning and the relation between them. Part Two introduces the college autonomous learning’s connotation, the characteristic, and the necessity in current Web environment. Part Three refers to autonomous learning’s present situation and existing problems in the Web environment. Part Four mainly deals with how college students use the Web resource to gain study material and carry on the autonomous learning. So if the students make use of the Web well, it will help them strengthen their study will gradually, and raise their English autonomous learning capability.

摘  要

随着社会的飞速发展和要求,发展学生在网络环境下的英语自主学习能力是大学英语教学改革的重点之1。本文通过分析网络环境对大学生英语自主学习的影响,大学生英语自主学习的现状以及如何利用网络环境提高自主学习的能力,从多方面分析了网络环境下的大学生的英语自主学习。文章包括了4个部分,第1部分介绍了网络,自主学习以及它们之间的`关系。2部分介绍网络下自主学习的涵义,特征以及表现方式。第3部分也指出网络环境下大学英语自主学习的现状和问题从而得出4部分,怎么利用网络获得资料和信息来自主学习英语。因此,只要很好的利用网络学习英语,才能加强学习动力,达到提高大学生的英语自主学习能力的目的。
